AMDEX Corporation will provide project management services for the 2020 CSS that is a key component for meeting constitutional and legislative mandates for the 2020 national census.

AMDEX is tasked with the project management activities needed for schedule management as well as providing the technical expertise needed for the Census Scheduling System. AMDEX is developing an integrated schedule that will consist of individual project/system/operation schedules that span the entire decennial census period (2012–2020).

The U.S. Census Bureau will be implementing a re-engineered 2020 census that is cost effective, provides timely data, improves coverage accuracy, and reduces operational risk. This will be accomplished through a multi-year research, testing, and development program.
