Silver Spring, MD August 28, 2015 – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has exercised the next Option Year of its Program Management Support contract with AMDEX. This contract was originally awarded in August 2013 and this is the second option exercised. This option will promote continuity and efficiencies developed by AMDEX for the Program Management Functions of the CDC and will improve their overall vital mission in reference to public Health.

The role of the CDC in improving public health and fighting diseases globally cannot be understated. The CDC has shown the extent of its valued relationship in AMDEX by allowing us to continue supporting the Program Management Services function.

“AMDEX is grateful for the continuing confidence CDC has placed in us by exercising this option,” said Ms. Devinder Singh, AMDEX President and CEO.

Issued as a Task Order under AMDEX’s CIMS Contract with CDC, it provides Program and Project Management tools, methods, processes and training. AMDEX supports various stakeholders in the Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Registry and the National Center for Environmental Health (ATSDR/NCEH). Our services contribute to ASTDR/NCEH operations, reduce cost, and produce benefits through efficient management methods and EPLC compliance.
