Sr. Project Manager - Healthcare IT - E1076

As a Sr. Project Manager on a large complex program, will oversee all aspects of your assigned project. Will be leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of a complex project. 


  • Organize, direct and coordinate planning and production of all the contractor’s support activities; develop a five-year strategic plan
  • Formulate and review project plans, determine costs and ensure conformance with work standards
  • Translate and communicate policies, purposes and goals of projects between contract and client staff across multiple agencies
  • Provide routine reporting of core data sources as new data becomes available
  • Promote use of client core data sources by others through workshops, webinars and technical assistance
  • Perform analyses for projects of high priority
  • Provide guidance to dental public health residents, fellows, and surveillance, epidemiology, economics and evaluation staff in statistics and statistical software
  • Carry out quality control regarding analyses and input of data systems

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication with all levels of management for planning and control of projects
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Knowledge of health surveillance systems, preferably oral health surveillance systems, or chronic disease or maternal and child health surveillance systems
  • Expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanics as well as data applications and analysis experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 5 must be specialized
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Public Health
  • Experience in oral health epidemiology, state-level epidemiology or collaboration with state, applied, and university epidemiologists preferred
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Epidemiology preferred
