As a part of our overall program and project management service offering we’re seeking experienced project management technology implementation experts who are interested in a dynamic environment rich with opportunity for professional growth through on client site service delivery as part of our team of program management professionals. You will provide technical implementation and management services for common project management enterprise tools from Oracle and Microsoft. In this role, you will work with our teams to respond to all forms of technology needs, from user administration to troubleshooting and performance tuning. This role also supports our clients with expertise in extending the already rich capability sets of these enterprise tools by identifying, testing, and evaluating potential add-ons and new applications. You may also plan and execute patching and upgrades with regression testing, and/or work with client offices who have that responsibility to ensure uninterrupted operations for the PM teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform/application maintenance, including developing, maintaining, optimizing and/or documenting application components.
  • Research and recommend, then plan, test, and execute upgrades/updates, patches, and/or hot-fixes. Develop test scripts and plans to engage users in testing
  • Support platform interfaces/integration – analyze, assess and provide recommendations for – then execute – technical integration and/or data sharing between P6 and MSP
  • Technical support to both Professional client and web applications/modules
  • User administration, including setup, permissions and security, access, etc.
  • Develop job services/batch applications to perform analyses, produce reports, collect data
  • Perform application trouble shooting, and provide technical support to application users
  • Develop custom solutions within enterprise applications to support user needs for data entry, analysis and reporting
  • Provide installation technical guidance for client and server applications
  • Interface with Oracle and/or Microsoft Technical support to resolve problems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technology field, and 10 years of technical implementation experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience with one or more of the following:
  • Microsoft enterprise tools, especially Project Server 2010/2013 and SharePoint
  • Oracle Primavera P6 (Professional Client and Web, version 8.2 or higher, version 15 exp preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in resource loading and EVM
  • Experience with various SDLC methodologies including Agile
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration, in a professional setting, with support to senior management and/or as a technical consultant
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident for 2 Years+; must have ability to pass Government suitability access requirements
  • Experience with U.S. Census or other Federal Civilian Agencies.
