Silver Spring, Maryland December 5, 2007 - AMDEX Corporation President/CEO Devinder Singh is delighted to announce that the Silver Spring firm has been awarded the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 Appraisal. This comes after an intensive progression of implementing a process improvement and performance measurement system that met the rigorous guidelines set forth by Carnegie Mellons SEI. It consists of best practices that focus on development and maintenance activities that include the product lifecycle from conception through delivery and maintenance.
According to Ms. Singh, Achieving the CMMI Level 2 puts AMDEX in an elite league that few small businesses accomplish. Fewer than 100 small businesses throughout the United States have attained this goal; so, I am very proud of our success.
The SEI is a federally funded research and development center that conducts software engineering research in acquisition, architecture and product lines, process improvement, and performance measurement, security, and system interoperability and dependability.
